Can I bring a plus 1?
We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and have to keep the guest list limited to each personal guest we have selected. We have put a lot of personal touches and details into the planning for our guests. Uninvited guests will not be accommodated or allowed in the venue. Thank you for understanding that we cannot accommodate any Plus 1s.
Can I bring my children?
As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults only affair and children will not be permitted in the venue. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the children at home so you can celebrate and enjoy with us.
What happens if I am late to the ceremony?
Anyone arriving after the ceremony begins will have to wait outside the gate at the check in area until the ceremony is over to avoid any distractions. Once the ceremony is over, you can join the cocktail hour and reception.
What is the attire?
Black tie optional. This means for men: tuxedos or dark colored suits are requested. For women: floor length dresses or cocktail dresses. We ask guests do not come dressed in casual attire. Dress to Impress ;-) No white attire will be permitted.
When do I need to RSVP by?
We ask that each guest RSVP whether you are able or not able to make it. This will help us stay organized for our big day. Invitations will be sent in September 2023. After receiving the invitation, please RSVP by December 10, 2023.
My husband/wife is unable to make it. May I bring someone else instead?
No, we personally chose each guest and would love to keep this special day shared with only the guests that we invited.
Will the venue have parking?
There is limited parking at the venue. We recommend our guests take an Uber or Lyft to the venue. The venue address is:
Secret Gardens Miami 14450 SW 248th St. Homestead, FL 33032.
When should we arrive?
Our wedding will begin promptly. Please arrive on time to make sure you are in your seat and ready for the ceremony. Because our wedding is during the week, please be prepared to encounter some traffic. If you are staying in Miami, we suggest you continue to monitor the traffic on the day and leave about 1hour prior (or more if needed) to make sure you arrive in time. We recommend leaving at 2:30/2:45pm.
What days should I be in Miami?
Most guests will be staying through the weekend. If you are only able to stay for a few days, the main days that events will take place will be 2/22-2/23. The wedding will be on 2/22, we will take a boat day trip on 2/23 and will enjoy a beach party on 2/24.
How can we stay connected to everyone during the weekend?
We created a WhatsApp group chat so that everyone can stay connected throughout the weekend. A few days leading up to our wedding, please click the link and join the group, so we can send any updates.
Where are you two registered?
Like most couples who have known each other for a while, we’re surrounded by all the household treasures anyone could ever want or need. If you wish to give, you can contribute to our registry here.
